She struggled with Dessert Week
It is week five of the latest series of Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off and five bakers have already rolled up their aprons and headed home. However, the latest contestant to be eliminated from the show carried with her a secret that she spilled the beans on as she left the contest.
According to Nottinghamshire Live's sister website, Birmingham Live, Carole failed to impress with her signature bake and the technical challenge. While she appeared to redeem herself during the showstopper challenge, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith admitted that she hadn't done enough to keep her place in the competition.As she left, Carole revealed a big lie - and it was one that she had told her family and friends.
