Kyle Kaylor, 18, was handed a suspended sentence
A balaclava-wearing teenager robbed a boy, aged 16, of an £800 Gucci bag after he spotted him walking alone. Kyle Kaylor, 18, and another man saw the boy from down an alleyway and followed him.
Prosecuting, Ben Lawrence told Minshull Street Crown Court that on July 2 this year, at around 7.30pm, the 16-year-old victim left his home in Altrincham and made his way to get the tram into Manchester city centre. As he walked by the back of the NatWest bank on Back Grafton Street, he noticed eight to ten males stood around.
The pair walked away with the bag, plus the young man’s wallet. In total, £1,000 worth of goods was taken.
