A man who was banned from driving was caught behind the wheel going for a takeaway. It came just days after he completed a motoring course to prevent him from reoffending.
But, on March 11 this year, he was caught out on CCTV parking his Renault Meghan on double yellow lines in Chapel Street, Chorley. Preston Crown Court heard that after doing this, he walked into a nearby takeaway before retuning to the car and driving off.LancsLive reports that the 31-year-old, now of Sycamore Road, Chorley admitted he drove to the takeaway, where he worked, to drop a set of keys off.
