Barbers and beauticians plan to sue California Gov. Gavin Newsom over a stay-at-home order in an attempt to reopen as soon as possible
, saying that as part of phase two, some retail shops will be allowed to provide curbside pickup. But the beauty shops are part of phase three, which requires greater preventative measures and health indicators to take effect.
The PBFC in a release describes itself as California's only professional association "representing every sector of the beauty industry," which it says encompasses some 500,000 licensees and 50,000 salons in this state.
