Barbie Ferreira has confirmed she's quitting Euphoria ahead of the hit HBO show’s third season.
EuphoriaThe actress, 25, who starred as Kat on the show, confirmed on Instagram that she would not be returning for the next run of the show.
She shared a drawing of her character in underwear and a cat mask from the show, drawn by co-star Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules Vaughn on Euphoria, as she broke the news to her fans. Barbie wrote: ‘After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary eyed goodbye.
‘I hope many of you could see yourself in her like i did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. ‘I put all my care and love into her and i hope you guys could feel it. Love you Katherine Hernandez.’It is not yet known whether Barbie’s character will appear in any of the third season’s episodes or not.Entertainment TonightBarbie’s character was seen exploring the world of online sex work in season one as a way of embracing her sexuality, before beginning a relationship with Ethan , before things went wrong for the couple.
