Eva Garcia says her outcomes have improved since her Sunshine Coast high school took steps to make sure could learn alongside her classmates.
So when legally blind student Eva Garcia enrolled at high school on the Sunshine Coast , her teachers had their own learning to do.
She said she had never taught a blind student and learnt braille in less than four weeks in preparation for Eva beginning Grade 7 this year."I was kind of amazed I achieved this in the end to be honest.Ms O'Mara and Eva have spent up to 25 school hours per week together.
