A statement from Humphries’ family remembered the comedian for his ‘unique with and generosity of spirit’ and added: ‘The characters he created, which brought laughter to millions, will live on.’to the sleaze of Aussie statesman Sir Les Patterson. ‘It is a good innings [making it to his 80s] and I don’t know what I attribute it to. But I don’t do exercise and I think that’s the answer.’
