Bausch Health BHC, -1.76% finance chief Tom Vadaketh will resign effective Oct. 13 to pursue another opportunity, the Canadian pharmaceutical company said in a regulatory filing Monday.

The company said that it has initiated a search for a permanent CFO. John Barresi, the Bausch’s controller and chief accounting officer, will become interim CFO if no successor is in place once Vadaketh departs.
