Freshman phenom McKenna Woliczko helped lead Archbishop Mitty to CCS Open, NorCal Open championships
In the biggest games, Woliczko played with the poise of a battle-tested senior, averaging 20.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game on a team that finished 28-3.
“It’s been crazy,” Woliczko said during the season. “Going to Mitty, I didn’t expect to be a starter, let alone averaging that many points and rebounds.” Along the way, many of the nation’s top college programs — South Carolina, Stanford and Tennessee, among them — have offered scholarships to Woliczko.Woliczko broke out at a high-profile national tournament in Arizona during the holidays.
