A service of thanksgiving for much-loved BBC presenter, Harry Gration, who sadly died last month will be held on August 1.
The service for Harry is to be held at York Minster from 11.30am. The cortège will travel down Leeman Road, over Lendal bridge, to come to rest in Duncombe Place by The Minster.Press and members of the public are invited to pay their respects but it is anticipated to be exceptionally well attended. The TV presenter, who was a father of six, was made an MBE for services to broadcasting in 2013. He was father to three children with wife Helen. Their youngest son Hamilton was born in 2020.
