Addressing the jibe while hosting his show on the BBC, the 37-year-old broadcaster didn’t hold back when he offered the famous figure some choice criticism of his own.
One fan of the show suggested Greg ‘egg his house’, to which he surmised, ‘I would bloody love to egg his house’. Uploading the moment to his Instagram account, the star referenced the caller’s advice when he captioned his post with: ‘Where’s good to bulk buy eggs?’ Greg’s anguish didn’t go unnoticed by the palace, however, as the Instagram account for the Prince and Princess of Wales left him a lovely note underneath his video.
