Carol Kirkwood is urging people not to put their big coats away just yet
BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood is warning people over their "big coats" as things are set to "turn colder".
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, she said: "Don't put away your big coat just yet! Although most of us are seeing temperatures well up the teens , it is going to turn colder.READ MORE: Aldi should 'take full responsibility' for 'illegal' product says shopper The BBC forecast for Liverpool predicts highs of 13C today , with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Wednesday will be somewhat cooler, with highs of 11C, and "rain, heavy at times early soon become patchy and light from the north west."
