Andrea Papi, 26, was found dead on April 6 after going for a run in the mountainous region of Trentino-Alto Adige.He had suffered deep wounds to the neck, arms and chest and an autopsy carried out on Friday concluded he had been attacked by a bear, Italian news media reported.

Prosecutors said DNA samples taken after last week's attack matched a 17-year-old female bear identified as"JJ4," Reuters reported.
