A Lancashire man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed
A 'beautiful' teenager died in a horror multi-vehicle crash on the M6 just days before starting her 'dream career' with British Airways.
Chloe Williams was a passenger in a Volkswagen Polo when it was involved in a collision with three other vehicles on the northbound carriageway. Despite best efforts of NHS staff, the 19-year-old later died in hospital. A 27-year-old man from Rossendale was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.The tragic collision happened at around 5.15pm on Friday, December 2 between junction 16 to junction 17 northbound at Sandbach. Police say the Dudley family are being supported by specialist officers and they have today released a heart-breaking tribute to her.
In a statement, the family said: "We have lost our beautiful girl in the most tragic way. She was about to start her dream career and has now had all that taken away.Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information or dashcam footage from around the time of the crash to come forward. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Cheshire Police via the force's website quoting IML 1426483 or call 101.
