Funeral and death notices for special Rossendale people who have died
Tributes have been left this week to remember loved ones in Rossendale who have recently passed away.
Harold loved cars, fixing things and restoration. He leaves behind his daughter Sandra, son Barry and daughter Shenna. Billy was a retired engineer, working at Woodhey Engineering. He enjoyed walking, socialising, shopping and reading. Margaret Whitfield Margaret Whitfield, of Heather Close, Helmshore, died peacefully at home on Saturday, September 17, aged 78. She was married to Brian Williams who passed away in 1986 and went on to marry Ted Whitfield.
Family flowers only, donations if desired, in memory of Margaret to the British Heart Foundation c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning & Woods, Haslingden.
