Funeral and death notices for special Rossendale people who have died
Tributes have been left this week to remember loved ones in Rossendale who have recently passed away.
David was born and raised in Accrington and attended QEGS in Blackburn and graduated firstly from Manchester Polytechnic with a BSc in Polymer Science and later from Napier University in Edinburgh with an MSc in Material Science. Later in life David qualified as a teacher and taught at Accrington and Rossendale College at various points in his career.
He took a keen interest in current affairs and enjoyed a good discussion with family and friends. David was also a brilliant cook, loving to create wonderful meals for family and friends. His life might have been short, but David lived it to the full. James was an ex-serviceman, general worker at Bleach Works and a warehouse operative at Tunstead Needlefelt, Stubbins.
