Former prime minister Tony Abbott says “out-tealing” the teals or becoming “Labor-lite” is not the way forward for the Liberal Party.
“As Liberals we support lower taxes, smaller government, greater freedom,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“As conservatives we support the family, small business and institutions and values which have stood the test of time “But above all else as patriots, we believe that Australia remains the best country on earth to live and we want to keep it that way.”
