At least seven major Vegas hotels and resorts have dealt with beg bugs over the past year and a half, according to a review of state health records by KLAS/Fox40.
Using state health records, the news station found that at least seven major Vegas hotels and resorts have dealt with beg bugs over the past year and a half, according to the report.
The affected hotels included Circus Circus, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, the Palazzo, Tropicana, MGM Grand, and Sahara, according to KLAS. Several of the health inspections were triggered by guests seeing bugs or reporting bites, according to the report. One Vegas pest control expert told KLAS that bed bugs are invariably brought into hotels by guests, given the sheer volume of tourists that come through the casino capital on any given day, and suggested guests examine mattresses for signs of infestation whenever staying at a high-traffic venue.
