Tracking prices and inflationary trends for selected goods at Coles and Woolworths, comparison app Frugl Grocery found that on average, grocery price inflation rose to a record level of 6.75 per cent in the final quarter of the 2021-22 financial year.The largest rises were seen in the fruit and veg sector.
Shopping costs are generally consistent across the country, except for the Northern Territory, where they are slightly higher.
