as the inspiration for the scene, though by the end of the visual, Twigs finds herself in an entirely different milieu, running through the verdant English countryside in a romantic white gown custom created by British designer and frequent FKA Twigs collaborator,Marler, who is Josephs’s partner, made all of the pieces that Twigs wears in the video.
According to Josephs, Twigs wanted to go baroque and romantic at the start, in keeping with the overall visual direction of her upcoming album, and then end up somewhere a bit more innocent. “Ed came up with the idea where some of the clothes look like they have been made using the sheets the women are hanging in the back garden,” says Josephs.
