The tour of Muriel's Wedding has been beset with casting woes
Not only did the co-production between Global Creatures and Sydney Theatre Company earn acclaim from Sydney’s notoriously picky critics, it all but sold out the entire run in late 2017 and early 2018.
Late last year a press release announced Natalie Abbott would make her professional debut in the role of Muriel while Elizabeth Esguerra, who had appeared in a few shows, was to play her best friend Rhonda.website underwent a small update.
