Legen Apple, Microsoft und Nvidia überproportional stark zu, profitieren Anleger im Equal Weight ETF davon also kaum, während diese drei Titel einen S&P 500 ETF nach oben ziehen. Fallen diese drei Titel besonders stark, fahren die Anleger im Equal Weight ETF dann aber besser.

Alle drei Monate wird die Gewichtung beim Equal Weight ETF mit 0,2 Prozent wieder hergestellt. „Bei gut gelaufenen Aktien werden somit Gewinne mitgenommen und in die zurückgebliebenen Titel investiert“, sagt Kleefeld.
