‘Being in the Love Island villa is so isolating - it makes you feel more in love’
After four weeks of being in the Love Island villa, the contestants on this year’s show have seen their fair share of ups and downs. From shock eliminations to on and off romances, many of the Islanders’ relationships have attracted plenty of attention online.
“You don’t have anyone else to connect with and you have no music, books or TV so all you can do is talk. As a result, if you fancy someone or even if you get the smallest of vibes from someone, you naturally gravitate towards them and want to be with them even if you wouldn’t do the same on the outside world.”
Abigail, who has previously opened up about returning to her day job as a tattoo artist, also spoke about this year’s series in particular and said that she doesn’t think the connections “are that strong” so far in the season.
