Nearly 50 ladies from Asia, Afghanistan, Africa and localSouth Belfastresidents took part alongside frontline police officers
The Belfast Asian Women’s Academy launched the BAWA Social and Recreational Hub in January with the aim of connecting, empowering and making a difference in people's live.
Ladies from a diverse background including local ladies took part in this fun filled event, which took place in JungleNI.Speaking on behalf of BAWA, Director of Projects Ana Chandran said she was extremely happy that this event brought together ladies from diverse background to celebrate International Women's Day.
"I hope that the time we spent together gives confidence to women and their families, from all backgrounds, that we are here for them. We look forward to working together with BAWA through their new Social and Recreational Hub in the coming months."
