Christopher Johnston and Kacper Rozanski of Altware Games have released their first professionally published game, Omen
Two Ulster University graduates who have turned their childhood passion for video games into a career are celebrating their very first release. Omen, which came out last week, is the inaugural professionally published game from Altware Games.
Christopher said the game has changed over time, and originally "started out as a different idea". He explained: “It was a game called By the Blood, which was about an Aztec warrior raiding his way through a temple, hunting monsters and finding an ancient alien temple underneath. Kacper said: “I’m honestly very proud of everyone’s work. It wouldn’t be what it is today if it was not for the contributions of all three team members."
Christopher and Kacper were fans of video games while growing up and for both, their passion for video games started at a young age. “I’m living my best life at the minute. We just published our game and the remake for Final Fantasy 7 came out. It has been a good week for me, I have had a lot to be happy about.”
