One to be aware of if you are out today
Roads around Belfast will be closed for a period of time this weekend as a major maintenance scheme continues on the M2 'Hill Section.' The first phase of this scheme began on June 17.
The Department for Infrastructure have said the investment will have long term benefits in restoring the structure of the road to a good condition and will improve the structural capacity of the road, enabling it to carry current and future traffic levels along this key route.Road works are set to continue this weekend, from July 1-4. The Department said it has carefully planned these road works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise inconvenience to the public.
To complete the works the following road and lane closures will be in operation over this weekend, July 1-4:
