He's taken the city's feathered friends under his wing 🐦
A Belfast man has been dubbed "Lord of the Pigeons" after he was spotted feeding the birds at City Hall in an unusual mask.
Speaking to Belfast Live, he said that the mask was given to him as a birthday present due to his fondness for feeding the birds which began during lockdown restrictions as a way for him to get out of the house and he has recently returned to doing so as a way of helping him to relax.He also claims it is a great way to help with a hangover on a Sunday morning.
"Around early May this year, I was hungover on a Sunday, very bored and decided to get myself out of bed and on my bike for a bit of fresh air to help the hangover and saw some bird seed in the Poundland by Victoria Square and decided to feed the pigeons at City Hall and really enjoyed the experience.
