Around 300 people have been contacted following the diagnosis
A confirmed case of measles has been diagnosed after someone attended the Royal Victoria Hospital A&E.
It is understood that around 300 people who may have been in contact with the individual have been contacted by the trust following the diagnosis.The Trust has said that it is working closely with the PHA to ensure all public health actions are taken. "In line with guidance from the Public Health Agency, we have written to a number of patients who may have had contact with the person in the emergency department and will continue to work closely with the PHA to ensure all appropriate public health actions are taken."
