The 26-year-old was riding along Horseshoe Bay Road on Magnetic Island on Friday afternoon when she hit a street sign.She was flown to Townsville University Hospital where she had emergency surgery but died later that night.Her employer said she had only recently celebrated her 26th birthday."There are so many people grieving."
Authorities are working with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to notify her family in Belgium.
