The final 20 players have been shortlisted for the 2022 Golden Boy award, with Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham & Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala the standout nominees... BVB FCBayern
The Golden Boy award is presented to the best footballer under the age of 21 each year and was created by the Italian outlet Tuttosport in 2003, with journalists voting for the winner.
Previous recipients of the award include Wayne Rooney , Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba .midfielder Pedri claimed the award and the 19-year-old has again been shortlisted. Barcelona are the most-represented club on the shortlist with four players.
