The actor is expected to return as Batman in two upcoming DC Universe films, The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Affleck could also be seen in Air Jordan, the Nike biopic he stars in as co-founder Phil Knight and directed, if the film is released at some point this year.

He was spotted filming the commercial at a Medford, Massachusetts location - which is close to Affleck's hometown Boston. 7 News reporter Rob Way shared an image of Ben Affleck in the Dunkin' Donuts uniform as he works the drive-thru during the production. A fan account for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck - known as Bennifer Updates - also shared a video of Affleck thanking the crew for their work on the commercial.
The extent of Ben Affleck's relationship with Dunkin' Donuts was confirmed by the actor in a 2019 interview with Collider. He stated that he drinks Dunkin' Donuts every day, making sense of the frequency with which he is spotted with it on the go or at home. This includes the viral photos from 2021 of the DCU's Batman actor bringing several packages into his house while balancing his latest Dunkin' Donuts coffee on top.
