Ben Shephard has expressed his gratitude to fans for their "lovely messages" after his first week presenting This Morning with Cat Deeley. The pair took over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who left the ITV morning show last year.
In his post, Shephard mentioned that he and Cat had done "a lot of laughing and of course had some delicious food". He joked that he was now fasting over the weekend to make room for more food next week.View gallery Cat responded to the post saying it had been "so fun" and revealed she was trying out a steak recipe inspired by chef Donal Skehan, who had been on the show during the week.
Familiar to viewers as the host of ITV quiz show Tipping Point and former co-host of Good Morning Britain , Ben left GMB in February to host This Morning, a role he has previously stepped into for Schofield.
