Australia win controversial second Ashes Test as Ben Stokes is given standing ovation
Australia have gone 2-0 up in the Ashes after a thrilling and controversial contest at Lord's where Ben Stokes tried to mount an incredible comeback.
Stokes managed 155 runs on the final day of the second Test before he was bowled by Josh Hazlewood as he went for the ropes once more.The England fans showed their appreciation for Stokes after he was dismissedAs he left the Lord's pitch, the England captain was given a standing ovation from every corner of the ground - including from the Australia fans.
The Aussie players also ran over to congratulate Stokes on a remarkable innings that ended in disappointment after going to pull one shot and finding the top-edge instead.
