Comment: History shows Berejiklian has the upper hand in calling Barilaro's bluff
John Barilaro has been a maverick leader of the Nationals. He has increasingly attacked his so-called Liberal allies. He has repeatedly threatened to use the ultimate weapon and blow up the government.
Nationals leader John Barilaro is flying in the face of history in his stoush with Premier Gladys Berejiklian. In the Eden-Monaro byelection, many believe Barilaro deliberately sabotaged the Liberal candidate to provide an opportunity for himself to go federal and displace the low-profile Nationals Leader Michael McCormack.
