The Berkman II demolition is planned for this Sunday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
The Berkman II, which is now situated in the 500 block of East Bay Street, will be imploded and the streets around the building will begin closing at 7 a.m.
That area, called the “exclusion zone,” includes private property, city right of ways and navigable waterways.
