Bernie Sanders ‘is up and about’ after artery blockage treatment:
“During a campaign event [Tuesday] evening, Sen. Sanders experienced some chest discomfort.
Following medical evaluation he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted,” said Jeff Weaver, a senior advisor for Sanders in aAccording to Weaver, Sanders is “conversing and in good spirits.” Sanders will be resting for the next few days, and his campaign plans to provide updates about his health., Sanders was traveling for a gun forum in Las Vegas before being scheduled to visit California later in the week.
