Thousands of people descended on Aintree racecourse today for the opening day of The Grand National Festival.
Among the crowds were some beautifully dressed couples - with many of them matching their outfits for the occasion. Thankfully the sun has been shining and the rain stayed away, meaning racegoers could really show off their fashionable outfits.on Thursday, April 11, with blue and navy being the colours that seem to be trending this year so far.day one of the festival here.
