Bespoked 2022 delivered some fantastic handmade bicycles, most of which we’d never want to actually ride for worry of chipping their beautiful paint work. Here we take a look at some of the best hardtail mountain bikes that were on display; from price-upon asking titanium gearbox bikes, to alchemy-inspired hardcore steel frames, and a 36er for folk over 2 meters tall, Bespoked had something for everyone. Why the Saturnum? It’s the name for one of the stages necessary to create the Philosopher’s Stone. All of Sarah’s frames are named after the stages; she also has the Black Raven, White Swan, Crimson Dawn and the Red Earth. Prova has a lot of customers in very humid countries in South East Asia. Because of this, Mark says the corrosion resistance properties of Titanium made it an attractive option for building bicycles
Prova is also making numerous parts in house, too, all from titanium of course. They make seat posts and handlebars, including the 25mm reach integrated bar-stem combo seen on the Ripido Party Hardtail. Mark has not yet decided whether Prova will sell this aftermarket, or whether it will only be available on a custom build.This is an XL Mosaic MT-2 with a reach of 490mm, with a stack of 644mm; the medium has a reach of 445mm, and the stack is 616mm. The BB height is 318mm .
Mosaic do all of their production and paintwork in house; they have 25 standard colors to choose from, and another 150 extended line colors. They can do color-matching to your components, too. This one is the Moto-Green colorway.
