The case of the missing 👜 has been solved! Beverly Williams was 14 or 15 when she misplaced her purse at Clear Creek ISD in 1959. Decades later, her purse was unearthed this week during renovations at the district's oldest school building.

The purse would have remained lost in the school's gymnasium, but contractors working on renovating the building for the League City Community Center in the summer of 2021 found the piece of history under floorboards originally placed down when the facility first opened in 1938.
