Bexar County will spend $500 million in bond money to build hospitals on the South and Northeast sides over the next five years.
Bexar County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kimberley Molina said all but two of the 53 people who perished after being transported in an unventilated trailer that was discovered June 27 have been released from her office for repatriation. Earlier at Tuesday’s meeting, Commissioner Rebeca Clay-Flores read the 53 names. She noted the ages of the minors, and sometimes strained with emotion to read the names.
