"We cannot allow our decisions to be affected by any extraneous influences such as concern about the public's reaction to our work," Justice Alito wrote in the draft opinion, according to Politico.Outside, the Supreme Court building, anti-abortion rights protesters carried signs that said "Ignore Roe" and "In God We Trust" while their pro-abortion-rights counterparts held placards declaring "Bans off our Bodies" and "Impeach Kavanaugh.
