President Biden is expected to call for national unity during the State of the Union address after attacking Republicans and Trump supporters for months.

CNN media analyst Bill Carter said that the president could use an interview that won't be"too challenging" for him.According to Politico, this message was honed over the weekend at the Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland, where Biden worked on the speech with White House senior adviser Anita Dunn among other people.
Biden clarified that"not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans" before adding:"But there's no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans.
