Eighty-five percent of Americans have a negative view of the U.S. economy.
Americans are increasingly negative about the state of the economy and overwhelmingly believe things are getting worse, data released Tuesday from Gallup show.Tuesday. Thirteen percent say economic conditions are “good.” Forty-six percent say describe economic conditions as “poor” and another 39 percent describe them as “only fair.”
Seventy-seven percent of the public says economic conditions are getting worse. Just 20 percent said things are getting better.
