The future of Pat Cummins’ captaincy could come down to how the end of the Ashes series plays out as Australia’s pain in the fourth test continues.
The tourists are currently 4/113 in their second innings, trailing England by 162 runs after copping the full brunt of ‘Bazball’ in England’s destructive innings of 592, leaving Australian captain Pat Cummins to face criticism from ex-players, pundits and fans.

All of Australia’s bowlers struggled economically with the fast-scoring rate of England’s batting line-up with Starc and Cummins both going for an average of more than five runs an over.
