“It's got nothing to do with world oil prices. This is exclusively domestic issues. It's the local price cycles that are working against motorists. Mr Khoury said the NRMA would be rolling out a range of initiatives to assist individuals and families dealing with the rising costs, however claimed the government could also intervene.
Queensland Premier Steven Miles this week announced a proposal which would see the state government build or acquire 12 petrol stations at a reported cost of $36 million.
