As Australia’s property market skyrocketed in 2021, some celebrities snapped up luxury mansions while others made big gains by selling out.

Mega-wealthy performers like Tones and I, Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman were able to add to their fortunes or property portfolios as property skyrocketed.

Hamish Blake moved to Sydney with his family after he and his wife Zoe Foster Blake sold their Richmond home for $7.44 million in March. CoreLogic’s report found the units were in Australia’s top 10 most expensive sales for the year with three units in Sydney’s Barangaroo tower going for more than $40 million.The top 10 Australian property sales for the year totalled $407 million and ranged from $31,250,000 to $60 million.
