Emergency services were called to Lightfoot Lane in Fulwood after a collision between a Peugeot 107 car and a Kawasaki motorbike
Police and paramedics were called to Lightfoot Lane in the Fulwood area of Preston at 6.22pm last night . When officers arrived at the scene they found a Peugeot 107 car and a Kawasaki motorbike had collided at the junction with Broadsman Road.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with head injuries and is in a serious condition. Lancashire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage.Sgt Matt Davidson from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "First and foremost our thoughts are with all those affected by the collision yesterday.
"We know from our enquiries that a number of people will have seen the motorcycle prior to the collision and I am particularly keen for those people to get in touch." If anyone witnessed the collision or the lead up to it, or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time, call 101 or email our Serious Collision Investigation Unit at [email protected] quoting log 1098 of March 20.
