Billy Talent kicks off the Saskatoon Ex Grandstand shows Aug. 9 at 8:30 p.m.
Canadian alternative rock band Billy Talent will kick off five nights of live concerts on Aug. 9 at 8:30 p.m. This will be the band’s first concert at the Ex since 2014.
Among the top 10 Canadian bestselling bands for the majority of its career, the members have been writing, recording and performing for nearly 30 years. The band’s sixth studio album, Crisis of Faith, was released in January. With high energy and emotional songs like Fallen Leaves, Try Honesty, White Sparrows and I Beg to Differ, the band continues to attract audiences of all ages around the world.
Though the Ex Parade and the pancake breakfast are suspended once again this year, the 136th annual Saskatoon Ex features indoor and outdoor entertainment for all ages. From noon to midnight each day, Aug. 9-14, the event will have fair food, attractions, live concerts and midway rides.All shows, including the Grandstand concerts, are free with general admission.
. Tickets will be available in person at Circle K stores starting June 17 or at the gate during the fair.
