A bin lorry crashed into a ditch after running into trouble on a narrow country lane, with a row breaking out between crew members and a member of the public videoing the incident.

Workers from West Lancashire Borough Council were left red faced when they succumbed to the difficult conditions on Moorfield Lane and their bin lorry landed sideways in a ditch running alongside the road. A council spokesperson said no-one was seriously hurt in the incident.The aftermath incident was caught on video by one passer by who joked with the crew that "you can't park that there". Taking it in good spirits, one worker responded: "You can f*** off.
