The Utah Black Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual business expo and Motown concert on Aug. 8 from 5-9 p.m. at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City.
SALT LAKE CITY — One of the country's top Motown groups is coming to Salt Lake City as part of night of music, fun and support for local Black businesses.
The Utah Black Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual business expo and Motown concert on Aug. 8, 5-9 p.m., at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City. The event aims to support and empower small Black-owned businesses while fostering growth within the local community. It will feature live music, vendors, food trucks, kids' activities, workshops and panel discussions.
"The Utah Black Chamber Business Expo is a testament to the vibrant and thriving Black-owned business community in Utah," Sidni Shorter, chamber president and CEO, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to showcase the remarkable talent, innovation and entrepreneurship of our members. This expo provides a unique platform for businesses to establish themselves at the forefront of Utah's economic ecosystem while demonstrating the value they bring to our community.
